Swissflex Design Highlights of the imm cologne 2020
From 13/01/2020 to 19/01/2020, the imm cologne 2020 attracted international visitors to Cologne to discover the upcoming home trends and furnishing ideas. We at Swissflex were also represented with a stand at the international furniture fair. For all those who were not able to attend the imm cologne, here is a short review from us!
Key aspects of the imm cologne 2020
More than 1,000 international exhibitors presented their products and furnishing concepts at the imm cologne 2020. The focus was on the theme worlds "Home" and "Pure". In the "Home" theme world, everything revolved around furnishing with lifestyle character. With "Home Sleep", a separate area was even dedicated to good sleep – and rightly, as we think! In the "Pure" theme world, the focus was on design features and highlights. Inspiring presentations of the most diverse living spaces, groundbreaking trends and innovative products were on exihibited here. A major trend that was present in all exhibition halls: more sustainability. Natural materials – wood above all– dominated many exhibition stands. Concepts for recycling used furniture were also shown by some manufacturers. In addition, the future of living also played an important role at this year's imm cologne. The "Smart Village", for example, showed how smart solutions will enrich the living space of tomorrow.
Swissflex Design Highlight #1: SF CLICK bed frame
We were particularly proud to present our absolute trade fair innovation to visitors: the SF CLICK bed frame. The new concept enables the assembly of a complete double bed in only 10 minutes. Instead of setting up the bed frame first and then inserting the slatted frame, with SF CLICK the slatted frame is first placed on pedestals and the bed frame elements are then simply clicked into place. Even the headboard is simply clicked on! The SF CLICK bed frame also makes hearts beat faster: You can choose between a wooden look or fabric covering and there are also different designs for the headboard available. You already have a Swissflex slatted frame? Then you can order the SF CLICK bed frame as a retrofit set, because SF CLICK is compatible with all Swissflex slatted frames! 
Swissflex Design Highlight #2: Swissflex Box with all-round casing
The Swissflex Box was presented in a new design at the imm cologne 2020: We present all-round covers for the Swissflex Box! The fabric cover is available for non-adjustable boxes of 24 cm or 33 cm height and 160 cm, 180 cm or 200 cm width. Thanks to a Velcro connection, the cover can be easily removed. All woven fabrics of the Swissflex collections are available. So the Swissflex box can be perfectly matched to the style and colour scheme of your bedroom.
Swissflex Design Highlight #3: Padded mattress Hybrid 18 Deco
As a further highlight at the imm cologne we presented the padded mattress Hybrid 18 Deco. For all those who love Scandinavian living, this design innovation from the Swissflex range is just right. Because with the Hybrid 18 Deco in its fabric cover, a harmonious look is created that is similar to Scandinavian boxspring beds. A topper is placed on the mattress and only the topper is covered with a sheet. This enhances the design of the bed even more. All Swissflex Toppers are compatible with the adaptable mattress. For the visual design you can choose from all the fabric variants of the Swissflex Box.
