Pure Swiss virgin sheep's wool

Dirt-repellent, self-cleaning and odourless: For our mattress covers we only use pure new wool of the highest quality. Due to the strong crimp, the fibre can store air and generate heat. It can also absorb water up to a third of its own weight without feeling damp. This creates a pleasant sleeping climate that is sure to help you sleep much better. The care of virgin sheep's wool is also easy. Because of the self-cleaning material, dirt or dust usually only settle on the surface. So, to enjoy a feeling of freshness again, you can take off the mattress cover every now and then, shake it out and air it. If cleaning is necessary, follow the care instructions for the fabric.

Lambswool

Lambswool is also ideal for our mattress covers. Like virgin sheep's wool, lambswool has excellent thermal insulation properties. The virgin wool still has its natural tips, which makes it particularly fine and soft, and it does not feel scratchy against the skin. Lambswool can also absorb water up to 33% of its own weight without feeling damp. In addition, the wool can be processed in such a way that it is breathable. That way, you do not have to sweat in summer and freeze in winter but benefit from a pleasant climate for a good night's sleep in every season.

Cashmere

Cashmere wool is one of the most valuable natural fibres. The precious wool is obtained by combing the underfur of the cashmere goat. Due to its unique softness, excellent heat retention and low weight, it is ideally suited for the production of high-quality products and is therefore also part of the Swissflex mattress covers. Cashmere wool is very breathable, dirt-repellent and odourless. Since cashmere is a self-cleaning material, it is often sufficient to simply air your mattress regularly.

Merino wool

The high-quality merino yarn is made from the wool of merino sheep. We were the first manufacturer in Europe to use this particularly fine, elastic and voluminous material to ensure a high level of comfort on both cold and warm nights. Mattress covers made of this material are therefore also ideal for people who sweat quickly at night. The yarn is not only characterised by optimal thermoregulation and fluffiness, but is also easily washable. Thanks to the temperature adjustment, you can sleep great even on hot summer nights.

Cotton

We use only the best cotton in our products. The robust and ecological material is easy to clean, particularly skin-friendly and thus also suitable for allergy sufferers. Cotton is a popular material for mattress covers, clothing and other textile products. The natural fibre is very absorbent and can be washed as often as you like. This makes it the ideal hygienic choice for your mattress cover.

Viscose

Viscose is an industrially produced fibre whose basic component, natural cellulose, is obtained from various tree species and is a very popular material in the textile industry due to its low cost. Viscose enables particularly good moisture absorption and transfer, supporting a dry bed climate. Even if you get warm quickly at night, a mattress cover with viscose content is a good choice. In addition, viscose mattress covers can be easily washed and help you keep a feeling of freshness.

Hollow fibre

The synthetic hollow fibre is an extremely light and high-bulk filling material. The capillary fibre regulates temperature and moisture by releasing moisture into the surrounding air. Despite the high air circulation of the hollow fibres, the material provides pleasant warmth. The washability of the material also makes it particularly suitable for allergy sufferers who clean their mattress cover more frequently.
